Random Summer Activities

Thought I would combined a lot of random things that don't have many pictures into one post. So here goes.

Went to Thanksgiving Point Monday Activity for Magic night. Lily is really into magic right now so we thought it would be the perfect thing for her. They showed them how to do tricks and we watched a really magician show. They also made there own magic wands. 

Supposed to me the "disappearing kid" but the girls were too shy so we did the disappearing daddy. 

 Lily got to go up and help the Magician at one point. He asked her to hold the CD which had just been a bird. She was hesitate, but liked being up there too. Once she handed it back he put it in a container and made the bird come back. Lily's face when the bird came out was priceless!!

Took the kids to the Nolan Park Splash Pad

 Oakley continues to walk (more like run) everywhere she goes. Her sisters love holding her hand and leading her places.

Created "balloon badminton" with foam pads and balloons. Was super fun and entertained all of us for hours. (Sorry the pictures are so dark)

I am sure you are wondering why I would show you a picture of my freezer. There are two reasons. First is that I love that we have an extra freezer downstairs. Totally worth the money and I am not sure I  mentioned it before that we got. Second is the meals. June was a crazy month and we ate out way more then our budget could handle. Needless to say we needed to figure out a way to have quick easy meals at home. I have been wanting to try this idea for awhile so finally made the time and did it. There are 16 completely ready meals in there and another 6 that make prep easier. All these meals need is to be thrown into the crockpot in the morning. It took about four hours one saturday to do it all, but I love love love it already. We have been doing it for a few weeks and its made life to much easier and we are still eating health dinners at home.

We left Oakley in bed at my parents house and headed to the drive in to see Monsters U with the older girls. It was a lot of fun even with our car dying. :)
