What do you do when your eight year old learns about the blood moon and wants to see one? You research it, find out the next one, then she makes a note and hangs it in her room for months until finally the day arrives, then you wake at 3 in the morning to wake her and watch with her until 6am.
Yep thats what we did. It was a cool experience and it was fun to sit and watch it with Lily. It was cooler in person, but here are a few of the pictures we took.
